Thanksgiving Food Drive

Please consider donating the following items to help families in need this Thanksgiving.

We kindly ask that all donations be received by November 20th.

Hours:
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesdays: Open late until 7:00 PM
Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Operation PB&J

Over the last few weeks, we have welcomed an overwhelming number of families into our program, many of them children who are experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. As our numbers rise, so does our need.

We are in critical need of peanut butter sandwiches or peanut butter & jelly sandwiches to help feed the children and families currently in our care. If you would like to help us nourish these little ones, please consider making sandwiches to support our mission to combat hunger among our unhoused families.

We are collecting the following items to prepare lunch bags for the children & families:

• Peanut butter or PB&J sandwiches

• Fruit (apples, oranges, bananas, fruit cups, anything a child can eat quickly)

• Chips or small snack packs

• Bottled water

• Bread, peanut butter, jelly

• Zip-lock bags

• Volunteers willing to help us prepare and deliver meals

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for caring. Thank you for reminding these families that they are not forgotten.

Heroes Hub Amazon Wishlist

We’re gearing up for our annual Gift Wrapping Event, taking place from November 24 through December 24, and we’d love your support!

Donating wrapping supplies helps us keep the holiday spirit alive while supporting an important cause. All proceeds from the event go directly toward helping shelter homeless children.

Gift Wrapping Volunteers

We are in need of volunteers to assist with gift wrapping in Sunrise from November 24th to December 24th.

There be various 4 hour shifts available as it will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 pm.

Adopt-A-Family

Each year, our Heroes Hub Adopt A Family Program connects generous community members with local families who are facing hardship during the holiday season. Through this program, you can “adopt” a family by providing essential items such as clothing, toys, household goods, and holiday meals, ensuring that every child and parent experiences the warmth and joy this season brings.

Once matched, sponsors receive a personalized wish list from the family, making it easy to shop for meaningful gifts. Whether you’re an individual, business, organization, or group of friends, your support can create lasting memories and relieve the burdens many families face during this time of year.

How It Works:

Get Matched – We’ll pair you with a family in need.
Receive Their Wish List – You’ll be given guidance and details to help make their holiday special.
Shop & Deliver – Purchase the gifts and either drop them off or arrange for delivery through our team.
Make an Impact – Your kindness provides hope, dignity, and joy for families in our community.
